Abstract


Along with the rapid social development, the enhancement of people’s living level and the vigorous development of colleges and universities infrastructure construction, the housing condition for teachers has been improved. On the other hand, due to financial limitations, it is not possible to arrange the same kind of apartment for all the teachers. Therefore, the main way to deal with this problem is to take teachers’educational background and professional title into consideration. But it’s nearly impossible as well as rather difficult to make this happen just by manpower.Hence, it is a rather meaningful option for universities, colleges, and institutions to develop a housing management system (including adding, modifying and deleting etc) in order to manage the housing information of the teaching faculty. With the help of this system, it will be easier to allot apartment for new applicants based on the timely and appropriate assessment of their performance. At the same time, it will be more convenient to update the original data so as to save the manpower and financial expenditure.This article mainly introduces the design and development of this housing management system which generally includes identity authentication module, password management module, basic information input module, basic information browsing module, basic information inquiry module, basic information deletion module, basic information revision module, application input and assessment module, application processing module, house allocation and update module. The interface is simple and it should be easy to operate.This system is stable and reliable with the application of the popular computer language asp.net and sql server database. It will greatly upgrade the efficiency of housing management personnel and liberate them from the troublesome, heavy-loaded and long time work.
