Abstract


The traditional performance management system refers to quantitative assessment using financial indicators, which ignores risk control, service process and other integrated indicators, and overemphasizes single and ex post finical data. To improve the assessment, the management system of commercial banks has to be changed from extensive operation model to intensive management for risk control, which requires IT divisions develop a new generation bank performance management system using latest computer technology based on a new theory.In the system development, I have been mainly responsible for the model design of balanced scoreboard and the implementation of KPI demonstration functions, accomplished the balanced scoreboard KPI design of each latitude applicable to commercial banks performance management, conducted organic integration and development by B/I tool using data warehouse technology, demonstrated each KPI for IBM Congos products, conducted model building, data abstraction, transformation and loading by the bank real business data, and by combining J2EE open architecture and PORTAL system, implemented integrated development of application system, established intelligent business platform for performance management to meet the requirements of business management divisions (e.g. institution performance analysis, product analysis, assets and liabilities management, financial analysis, comprehensive statistical analysis). Finally, we have designed and tested the examples for the functional modules in this thesis, tested the system functions using LoadRunner, and verified the performance management system meets the design and implementation requirements through functional test.This thesis examines the system structure, features and implementation technology, analyzes the basic design ideal and detail implementation methods. The system has now been put into use with steady operation.
