Abstract


3m is a Fortune 500 manufacturing company, has experienced decades of development, along with its business continues to expand and grow, the number of its internal systems and mutual coupling between the increasingly large, increasingly complex business processes integrate these internal systems and business processes, information technology has become an important annual solutions. This paper introduces the new and old systems 3m internal expansion and one-stop service users desire explains why discard your current workflow entirely within the framework of a model running on the system, and to cross-platform, cross-business services for workflow . 3M E-Process full name 3M enterprise Process, is a global enterprise workflow. Then, this article describes some of the workflow products related technologies. Including the introduction of workflow history and current status; two common workflow algorithms: petri-net, FSM (finite state machine) algorithm; currently on the market the more popular workflow framework JBPM; and distributed framework dependent technologies such as WEB Service, EJB, BPEL, etc. This article focuses on the system and the author's main responsibilities are: the architecture of distributed workflow engine for a detailed design and implementation. The main task of which is as follows: 1. Various distributed interface calls (WebServive, EJB, SOA orchestration, etc.) How to be combined with the workflow framework. 2 Sons workflow algorithms. How each workflow subsystem coupled into eleven master workflow solution that allows both the workflow subsystem exist independently, but also can be integrated into a one-stop shop workflow. Which focuses on the distributed workflow engine communication between the inter-node transfer, and process scheduling mechanism. 3 In order to adapt distributed workflow, the workflow engine affairs, authority role and other details need to do to adjust and expand. 4 reuse processes in the enterprise. In the implementation, the paper PETRI NET algorithm based workflow framework (JBPM) recording the location of the workflow and the role of development. Mainly through UML diagrams and timing diagrams of the following design: (1) distributed workflow engine module (distributed node migration and scheduling) is achieved. (2) Distributed Workflow observer mode to achieve the different communications workflow engine algorithms. (3) Distributed Component modules BPEL / web service interface to interact. (4) the process to define the syntax parse or extensions. Through this system, to achieve workflow-based information flow management to achieve business across systems, platforms, approval and other processing functions, and can be well compatible with the special needs of the various departments. Currently, 3M right order Order Center Order Center, notes Centre, warranty card center, reporting system workflow one-stop service, a daily average of hundreds of thousands of dollars in orders, trading on the system, workflow a stop service both for the convenience of the user, but also for business brings ease of maintenance.
