Abstract


Wireless Mesh Network (Wireless Mesh Network, WMN) , also known as wireless mesh network is a new broadband wireless communication network . Compared with traditional access networks , WMN can expand network coverage through multi-hop access , has the advantages of high coverage , low investment , high bandwidth , so as to solve the communication network building \provides a new way of thinking . As a multi-hop network , routing WMN have to face a problem , routing protocols a direct impact on the performance of the entire WMN network . Similarity WMN and Ad Hoc Networks , most of the WMN routing protocols are Ad Hoc routing protocols evolved , but how to combine the characteristics of WMN network itself , to design a suitable WMN network routing protocols , a challenging research topic . Starting from the the WMN network architecture and characteristics , based WMN is mainly used in broadband wireless access networks , the characteristics of the flow is mainly between the user and the Internet gateway to the tree access , in-depth analysis of tree access the advantage of the route , and the problems encountered in the design process . A tree routing and on-demand routing combined elaborated HWMP routing ideological and the basic routing protocols in WMN - Hybrid Wireless Mesh routing protocol HWMP ( Hybrid Wireless Mesh Protocol) , and then introduced to improve the WMN internal routing the working principle and analysis of the merits of its performance . Cause load imbalance to address tree routing problem , through the establishment of the multi - path model , draw the HWMP mixed routing ideological proposed Hybrid Mesh Routing protocol based on tree HTMRP ( Hybrid Tree -based Mesh Routing Protocol ) . HTRMP routing protocol between the Internet gateway with Mesh node first should be based routing , reactive routing Mesh nodes in HWMP tree based on the tree based on the reconstruction and the establishment of multi- path routing tree node congestion monitoring mechanisms and congestion adaptive routing strategy to choose the path , thus bypassing the congested nodes and idle nodes forwarding data to achieve load balancing within the network . Finally OPNET simulation platform AODV, HWMP , and HTMRP routing protocol simulation comparison , to draw HTMRP still has good performance under heavy network load and mobile .
