Abstract

With the continuous development of microwave and millimeter wave technology , the increasing demands of the communications equipment . An essential part as a communication system , the conventional antenna is often a link become relatively bulky . Microstrip antenna and its array came into being in this trend . The microstrip antenna greatest feature is the small size and easily with objects conformal , which has been reflected fully in the military and aerospace fields . Of course , the microstrip antenna also has its inherent disadvantages , such as a narrow band , the antenna Q value high . In this paper, for some of the technical characteristics of the microstrip antenna from the theory , combined with the analysis of commercial software , draw the appropriate conclusions . Specific contents include : 1 . Do a brief introduction to the analysis of the microstrip antenna , transmission line method and numerical method for the analytical method focuses on the finite difference time domain method ( FDTD ) . Linearly polarized microstrip antenna array . Introduces the microstrip antenna power feeding method, comprising the coaxial feed and microstrip feeding method ; the bandspread problems . Finally, we give a way to improve the cross-polarization microstrip array antenna isolation program . With circularly polarized microstrip antenna theory and experimental analysis for the miniaturization of the GPS antenna and the GPS antenna beam broadening , and draw relevant conclusions . Ultra-wideband monopole antenna analysis and discussion and side ring monopole antenna , for example ; analysis limit Potter ultra-wideband monopole antenna . Explained on this basis, the use of coplanar waveguide (CPW) , the antenna feed can be obtained the same effect as the antenna feed and the use of microstrip .
