Abstract

Sentence comprehension has been an important part of language learning as a second language learners are linguists focus of cross-language study, the statement of the second language learners to understand the process with a strong practical significance. In recent years, the field of linguistics more and more in-depth research on the language representation the characteristics of second language learners. Cross-language start priming effect and its role in the law as an important research mode exists between language peer word of two or more languages. Lexical decision and picture naming compared to the relatively simple experimental task, sentence to understand its more complex semantic structure of the reaction process was put forward higher requirements. This study is a Sino-Tibetan and Indo-European, Chinese and English study, twenty Chinese-English bilingual as simple sentences in English as the corpus, the semantic judgment task performed in two the mother tongue start to start by the first word and the last word start, the first and last word at the same time start and does not start the comparative analysis of the four situations, inspection native language semantic priming exists a positive role in the process of understanding of second language statement and its role to play regularity.
