Abstract


Local propagation of seismic waves in the formation and decay of energy is a reflection of the propagation medium inelastic nature . The experiment has proved , reflecting the sensitivity of the attenuation characteristics of the elastic properties of the reservoir rock and fluid properties . Typically, the attenuation characteristic of such a medium inherent with the quality factor Q (Quality factor) to describe. On the other hand , due to the method of vertical seismic profile (Vertical Seismic Profiling, referred VSP) to gain insight into the basic characteristics of seismic wave propagation in different depths of the underground , direct observation of changes in seismic waves , to help understand the process of reflection and transmission , and therefore is considered to be the only way to provide valuable sources of seismic wave attenuation data . In this paper, on the basis of seismic wave attenuation characteristics and its influencing factors , the Q value is positive , the inversion process carried out in-depth research . Based on the the Ganley FORWARD theory , consider the reflection and transmission of layered geological model with attenuation in the case of normal incidence synthetic seismogram generation , and not have attenuation of seismic profiles reveal of attenuation characteristics the seismic wave energy and the reduction of the frequency ; on the other hand , on the basis of theoretical analysis of the the centroid frequency offset strike a Q value method ( CFS) , forward the inversion of zero-offset VSP model calculation , and by contrast with the results of the amplitude attenuation, spectral ratio method , summed up the method is superior to the two methods in the thin layer recognition, the ability to layer anti interface interference , as well as analysis of the band width , speed select , focal point the impact of the position of the inversion results . Finally, two sets of actual data processing , to prove the practicality and feasibility of CFS .
