Moving target detection technology has a very important position in the field of intelligent monitoring , has been widely used for stationary camera auxiliary staff to monitor observation . Compared to the PTZ camera still camera has the obvious advantage of being able to break through to the contradiction between the field of view angle and resolution , to monitor a wide range of scenarios , is more widely used in the monitoring , but because the movement of the camera video contains , moving target detection and there is no universal solution . Moving object detection technology for PTZ cameras study , carried out the following work : (1 ) the proposed solution framework for moving object detection for PTZ cameras . Background model of the program through a motion estimation technique to remove the camera motion, the establishment of the entire field of vision panoramic view of the scene , and then detected by background subtraction method of moving targets in the current frame image , while the the panorama background model update . (2) of the panoramic background modeling and updating , study classical modeling method based PTZ camera features and requirements of the solution of this article , the improved panoramic background modeling method based on the median filter can reduce the motion estimation errors , generate panoramic background image clear and clean ; update method based on improved prospects background scene transformed problem can solve . ( 3) based on background subtraction method of the redundancy of the neighborhood , and the associated after-treatment is improved, and have a very good tolerance to improve the detection accuracy of the target motion estimation and modeling in the context of error . PTZ camera video of the actual shooting in indoor and outdoor environments , detection , and verify the effectiveness of the solution of this article and the improved method .
