Abstract

The acquisition, processing and application of human physiological signals is an important operation mode in modern medical healthcare treatment and research. Currently, large medical apparatus and instruments are always indispensable in order to acquire these vital signals, which are transmitted by cable and then conserved. In this way, we can not achieve a real-time monitoring of human physiological signals in anytime, anywhere and any conditions.Sensor networks have the potential to greatly impact many aspects of medical care. By outfitting patients with wireless, wearable vital sign sensors, collecting detailed real-time data on physiological status can be greatly simplified. In allusion to the disadvantages of traditional health-care system, such as large volume and high power dissipation, less portability and restriction of the patients, we proposed the hardware design and implementation of a wearable human physiological health-care system based on recent advances in wireless sensor networks, wearable and embedded computing technologies, which has the following characteristics:real-time monitoring, medical diagnosis, alarm units, multiple parameters and portability. Firstly, we described the hardware design of portable health-care monitoring system, including ECG acquisition circuit, SpO2 acquisition circuit, sensor node circuit, USB communication unit, power supply circuit and so on. Secondly, we introduced the commissioning and experiment of the hardware. Finally, we concluded the whole thesis and viewed the direction for future research. The results show that: parameters including ECG, SpO2, heart rate and pulse rate can be acquired in real-time with this system, and sent to monitoring terminal through wireless telegraphy. This system not only meet the requirement of current real-time, continuous and long time monitoring upon vital parameters of patients, but also enhance the flexibility, portability and mobility of the health-care monitoring system.
