Author through years of road , bridge , tunnel maintenance experience , for domestic road lighting , landscape lighting and equipment power supply and distribution , custody status quo, the analysis of several wired , wireless data transmission technology , based on a comparison frontier science and technology General packet Radio Service (GPRS) as a communication medium , intelligent power monitoring system based on GPRS network . Through the GPRS network , data communications , the system can be achieved with the monitoring sub- station two-way communication , both receiving various electrical parameters data from various monitoring sub- station , but also to provide users with a visual interface enables users to carry about distant sub-station run-time conditions , and in accordance with the actual need to monitor the sub-station to send various operations command , control the operation of the monitoring sub- station automatic alarm signal , and when the equipment abnormal or stolen ; highlights the cable using cable carrier and current monitoring technology anti-theft alarm system . The first chapter briefly summarized in the course of development and status quo of China's electric power communication network , the second chapter of the comparative analysis of the automation system several means of communication and the advantages and disadvantages , and GPRS several networking solutions ; Chapter as the background to the development of a power monitoring system , GPRS communication technology in the the substation use of its substation automation system implementations . After a few chapters I engaged in years of custody and systems development experience , focusing on several key technologies applied to the development of power monitoring system , such as SQL database applications , system software design and burglar alarm technology in system and implementation. The last chapter is a summary and outlook of the system development .
