With the development of the Internet, towards networked virtual instrument also began. Web based virtual instrument is the realization of networked remote measurement and control, one of the application of the construction of virtual instrument measurement and control network. The browser and server as the structure of the virtual instrument technology, not only expanded the testing system, data acquisition, processing, transmission and storage unification, but also to a great extent, reduces the test cost, improve the test efficiency. Based on.net technology, combined with LabVIEW development environment, build a Web based virtual instrument test network, under the browser operation to realize signal measurement, data storage, and waveform display, etc. Implementation of Web based remote virtual instrument control is the focus of this article. This paper discusses the characteristics of virtual instrument, the domestic and foreign development present situation, and the concept of networked virtual instrument. Secondly analyzes the principle of remote panel under the LabVIEW and the pointed out that the too much redundant data are real-time network transmission is the main reason, and puts forward a method based on Web programming, dynamic data exchange technology, realized only refresh the data part of change, in the final analysis on how to continue to improve the performance and the method of remote measurement and control.
