Abstract


Data mining is from large database or data warehouse to discover and extract hidden information in which a new technology . It can automatically analyze data and conduct inductive reasoning from which to explore the potential patterns or the association , the establishment of new business models to help decision-makers to adjust marketing strategies to make the right decisions. Genetic algorithm is a simulation of natural biological evolution and mechanisms to solve the problem of a class of self-organizing and adaptive artificial intelligence technique , is a natural genetics and computer combined and interwoven to form a new calculation method , to some extent genetic algorithm is a mathematical process of biological evolution mode emulation. Has been widely used in computer science, artificial intelligence , information technology and engineering practice . This paper first provides an overview of data mining , to clarify the definition of data mining , data mining purposes , tasks, and objects , and how data mining and data mining the primary process . Secondly introduces the definition and nature of association rules , types and other issues. Once again introduces an important data mining algorithms - genetic algorithms. Genetic algorithm for text development history and the main theories , genetic algorithm techniques are basically a brief introduction. On this basis , we propose a genetic algorithm based on association rules extraction method . From the encoding method , fitness function structure, genetic operators and other aspects of the design of a detailed discussion and analysis. Combined with a college teacher evaluation system, given the genetic algorithm of association rule mining instance. Achieve a data mining application in the field of education .
