Abstract


As Linux swept the world , a new term - open source ( Open Source ) gradually been known . Open source software is defined as software with source code is open and can be used by the public , and the use of this software , modify and distribute are not subject to licensing restrictions . The rapid development of China in recent years information technology in education , but it also exposed many problems , such as weak awareness of intellectual property rights , software piracy flooded , over-reliance on foreign commercial software . These problems to the country's education development of information technology has brought a great deal of resistance . In comparison, the advantages of open source software in the peer appear more and more obvious , can reduce costs , reduce risk ; higher quality and reliability ; easy to cut custom . These advantages are very much in line with the needs of the information technology in education . For most of the educational institutions in the world , the use of open source software has become a more cost-effective solutions . Of open source software in the campus network services , teaching and management has become increasingly widespread . The introduction of open source software to build China's own educational software platform , information and modernization of education has a very important significance . Today, however, the open-source software in the field of education , as mushrooming emerging , dazzling but also appear disorganized , the relative lack of system management platform to be classified management . In this paper, explore the application of open source software in the field of education on the basis of its collection of statistical analysis to classify and organize the last to use this powerful Plone open source content management system to manage them , the establishment of a professional and concise open source resources management platform, to the educators choose to use open source software process to bring convenience , thus promoting the open source software widely used in the field of education .
