Abstract


It becomes more and more manifest that the opening of laboratory plays a significant role in raising the creative and hands-on ability of students, in enhancing their integrated quality and in promoting experiment teaching. So in recent years, universities began to open laboratories on a large scale and this brings more and more workload of the management. The quick development of computer network technology and its application makes it possible the efficient computer-based administration of open experiment items and their open processes.The thesis works out an open managing system of experiments based on a thorough investigation into and demand analysis of the university’s managing model of open experiments. It raises the managing thought of evaluating students’ experiment ability and checking their honesty. The goal is to lower the probability of students getting hurt and that of damage to or waste of experiment instrument. Meanwhile it can decrease fruitless workload of laboratory administrator during preparations of experiments caused by students’ breaking the reservation for no reason, thus ensuring efficient, safe and smooth opening of laboratory.The thesis makes a demand analysis and design of university open experiment managing system adopting the object-oriented approach. Functional modules of the system mainly include the following: administration of experiment content, course administration, administration of experiment reservation, administration of reservation keeping and its result, administration of experiment instrument, administration of honesty, administration of experiment skill and administration of users. It designed the above-mentioned modules under the three-tier B/S system. Meanwhile the main functions of the system are realized with the help of the .NET platform of the Visual Studio 2008 development environment and DHTML, ASP.NET and the database technology ADO.NET. Its application to some courses of the university proves to be successful with improved efficiency of laboratory management.In the end, the paper elaborates on problems of the key technology and their solutions during the process of the system’s realization. The future study is also pointed out in the part.
