Abstract

As the modern science and technology get a rapid and remarkable progress, the world has entered the new era of information and internet based economy. Many traditional industries are trying to use the new internet technology to update its old working system. With the application of new network system combine to the original advantage of the traditional industries, they can obtain new mine of profits. Tourism is one of them, how to use the advantages of network system to develop culture tourism is the key question need to be answered by this thesis. In order to realize the profound combination between culture tourism and modern network, besides use internet as a drumbeating method for culture tourism, we can explore virtual system for culture tourism so the culture tour recourses can be sold directly on internet. That is the coming of the initial concept of virtual culture tour system.Recently, some western countries has probe into the application of virtual tour system, after some elementary tests they found that the virtual tour has some large advantages which traditional tourism badly off. In spite of its developing time is quite short and a lot of obstacles in existence need to be solved in the future, but we can forecast the fast growing of the world wide internet so we need to begin the explore of virtual tour system beforehand. Xi’an is a famous civilized ancient city in the world. It has a plenty of valuable culture tour recourses, so its tourism ego orientation should focus on allure the tourist from all over the world. But its operation means in the tourism industry is quite simple, and is detrimental to expand its visibility and increase industry revenue. This thesis aim at above problems and to deploy the new operation means of Xi’an culture tourism, launching Internet virtual tour for Xi’an tourism, and strive to keep up with the network era, the good achievement of sustainable development.The thesis first explores the development history,the status quo and future trend of virtual culture tour system both in China and abroad Based on a large amount of data and information collected in advance,the pertinent infrastructure conditions of Xi’an in developing virtual culture tourism are analyzed in details in terms of recourses,social economy and technology conditions, followed by a superiority versus inferior position analysis of the development conditions of virtual culture tourism in Xi’an. On the basis of the analysis of the status quo of development status, from the way of defining goals, market analysis and product design; bring forward the Xi’an virtual cultural tourism operation mechanism, which is the core part of this thesis. Finally, the strategies of development of virtual cultural tourism in Xi’an were studied and discussed, and that the corresponding conclusions.
