Abstract


Highway as a modern road transport corridor, in the contemporary social and economic life is playing an increasingly important role. Since 1998, China invested heavily in highways, Shaanxi Province closely follow the development of the country’s economic situation, increase the investment in highway construction, especially in 2005, "the Shaanxi Provincial 11th Five-Year Plan Outline", pointed out that Shaanxi and other provinces in highway construction exists a big gap between, should focus on accelerating the development of highways. Entered the "11th Five-Year Plan", the province set off a rapid upsurge in highway construction, to adapt to the new situation, formulated the "Shaanxi Provincial Highway network planning," Planning for the future development of the expressway in Shaanxi Province prospects.In the above context, this theoretical analysis of the highway from the technical characteristics and socio-economic attributes, that the highway to the reality of regional economic development effect, reviewed the development of expressway in Shaanxi Province, a clear development goals, introduced Shaanxi Province during the 11th Five-Year Highway network planning and the expected results. On this basis, in-depth study of the Shaanxi Provincial Expressway Development of the following questions: Shaanxi Provincial Highway Network Planning continuous adjustment of the experiences and lessons learned; Shaanxi highway construction funds to raise the status and problems of Shaanxi Expressway Construction Quality management in a number of issues; Shaanxi highway construction-related ecological and environmental protection issues. And the causes of these problems have conducted in-depth analysis. This paper put forward to solve the above problems and recommendations for improvement. These proposals on the future expressway in Shaanxi Province and the cause of the socio-economic development of a certain value and facilitating role.
