Nano-materials have become a hot research in recent years. It refers to particle size in the nanometer and their sizes are in range of 1 to 100 nanometers. Their sizes are greater than Cluster and less than the usual powder which are in clusters and macro-objects of the transition region. The performance has much greatly expanded than ever. the structure ,and the optoelectronics, chemical nature and so on of the nano-materials about the attractive features has attracted many materials scientists. It is very important for the raising awareness about the nature of the structure of solid materials as the development of nano-materials. Because of the ultra-fine material and the surface of the electronic structure and crystal structure changes, it result in a surface effect, small size effect, quantum effect and the macro-quantum tunnel effect and so on. So it has much different properties with the traditional materials. In recent years, the one-dimensional nanomaterials (nanowires, nanotubes, nanobelts etc) has a unique one-dimensional micro-structures and quantum size effect, as well as many new physical phenomena and physical properties which have been found, and people can also make man-made nano-space of the precision alignment and assembly through a variety of means which compatibles microelectronics preparation methods and provides nano-effective means of the preparation of electronic devices. Nano-Materials are not only the foundation of the nanoscience and development of nanotechnology, but also an ideal platform on studying the nano-materials science and technology. And people has made considerable progress in the preparation of nano-materials research, the development of a variety of methods of preparation of nano-materials, and found the relationship of the nature and the preparation of a number of nano-materials.The research of low-dimensional structures of ZnO is a hot topic. The new technology synthesis of nano-ZnO and the special nature have been reported many times. Compared with ordinary materials, it shows that the size (small size) effects, surface effects, such as macroscopic quantum tunneling effect which macroscopic materials do not have, and that make it demonstrate the application of high-profile prospects in the optical absorption, sensitive, catalytic and other functional properties, etc. ZnO is a new type of 21st century high-functioning fine inorganic products with much special nature, such as non-transfer and fluorescence, piezoelectric, and the ability to absorb and scatter ultraviolet light and so on. Using the wonderful performance of its light, electricity , magnetic and sensitive areas and so on which can produce gas sensors, phosphor, varistors, ultraviolet shielding materials, image recording material, piezoelectric material, pressure-sensitive resistors, high-performance catalyst, such as magnetic materials and plastic film. Therefore, the research of the theory of nano-ZnO prepared and application are relatively high. At present, research on nano-ZnO has been carried out very many, and also a lot of progress has been made. A lot of the preparation method of nano-zinc oxide develop successfully. The research on the application of nano-ZnO has been carried out in the field of photocatalysis, gas sensing, paint industry and as a light-emitting materials have achieved a great deal of success. The trial on the basis of these studies combined with the test conditions considered has made. Preparation of ZnO is by hydrothermal method and their photocatalytic properties were systematically studied.First of all, the experiments on the preparation of ZnO one-dimensional in-depth study of one-dimensional focus on the chemical synthesis of nano-ZnO as well as the forms of control. By controlling the time, temperature, CTAB and pH value and so on of reaction parameters, synthesis of one series of one-dimensional single-crystal ZnO nanorods is done, and through the use of X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy by means of high-resolution transmission electron microscopy study the nano-products phase composition and micro-structure of zinc oxide nanorods and the formation mechanism of the reaction process. Also the nano-zinc oxide product of the spectral characteristics and the performance of optical absorption have been studied through the use of Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, UV, and so on. In this study, through the above series of tests and characterization, one-dimensional ZnO has reached the optimum conditions are as follows: 4gZnSO4 particles get dissolved in 50ml distilled water, stirring under the conditions of accession 1.68gNaOH,have Zn2+/OH-1 molar ratio of 3:1,after magnetic stirrer in the reaction of an hour, put Sol centrifugal centrifuge, check 0.57g CTAB (cetyl trimethyl ammonium bromide) and add to the 1:1 aqueous solution of alcohol, then put them together, response on magnetic stirrer for 30 minutes, and adjust the pH value of solution 10, and then 5 minutes of ultrasonic ultrasound, The final solution is been transferred to the above-mentioned hot water reactor, sealing. At 130℃, reaction conditions for 20 hours hot water. Wash the Precipitation by deionized water and alcohol washing,80℃drying. The dispersed one-dimensional zinc oxide powder is evenly made. After analysis of X-ray , transmission electron microscopy and specific surface area, nano-ZnO have good crystallinity, specific surface area of 20.292m2/g, in diameter of about 32nm, the length of about 300nm uniform rod. Secondly, on the basis of the previous preparation methods of nano-zinc oxide and with combination in recent years the field of nano-ZnO in the photocatalytic application Photocatalytic experiments has done with methylene blue, methyl orange and Rhode Ming. The photocatalytic properties of nano-ZnO and its photocatalytic properties of the impact of some factors have been studied. Fully taken into account the different conditions of synthesis of one-dimensional zinc oxide, as well as zinc oxide at different pH value, quality, and the catalytic effect of light, the results show that for a lot of organic matter have good photocatalytic degradation and the best reaction conditions obtained at 110℃for the synthesis of ZnO one-dimensional, After ultrasound methylene blue dissolved in organic matter, under the visible light for 30 minutes, the degradation rate was 95%.In short, through the hot water method of synthesis of ZnO one-dimensional, the purity is relatively high, no other impurities generated, it is a workable method.
