Abstract


Thermal energy storage are the technologies that make use of latent heat stored by Phase Change Materials (PCMs).They can reshape patterns of electricity use for day and night. And they can make a full use of solar energy and are environment-friendly.With the development of science and the technology and the improvement of People’s life ,the Phase—change energy storage materials has a broad application wider. A higher requirement for Phase—change energy storage materials has been put forward to, which is good heat storage property, low cost, and high heat efficiency .Organic materials have become the hot researching subject because of the characteristic of no super-cooling and no chromatography.The research object in this paper is paraffin wax which has become every popular With its advantages of high latent Phase-change heat, no super-cooling, no chromatography, stable property, nontoxic, and low price, and so on as a kind of Phase-change heat storage material. Paraffin is phase-change material that phase transformative between solids and liquid .It could happen that liquid will leak during accumulation of energy if directly added to constructional materials to constitute phase-change walls, which will influence the using of the wall. To prevent it from happening ,we can pour the molten paraffin into a box which is folded by tinfoil ,then seal the box of tinfoil using anti-crack mortar as propping material. According to paraffin used as phase-change material of heat accumulation ,the text through lots of experiments proved that the sealed box of tinfoil used anti-crack mortar as propping material could be a kind of shape-stabilized phase-change material whose melting point is paraffin’s .The latent heat will increase as the content of paraffin increase.Fixed shape phase-change material is made up of paraffin wax, Foil and Polystyrene board. It can be used in wall to subjoin the capacity of maintain heat and save energy. This thesis research the difference between the plate with phase-change material and without phase-change material. The research indicates: the phase-change material with paraffin wax Foil and Polystyrene board in the plate can save more energy, and made the phase-change temperature more properly, The phase-change material with paraffin wax Foil and Polystyrene board is a good material which can save energy when it is used in wall.
