Abstract

Teachers are the most possible people to get occupation lassitude Teachers’occupation lassitude has become a hot subject in current educational and psychological fields.This research concerns the states of college P.E. teachers’lassitude in Sichuan Province. Through selection material, questionnaire investigation, data statistics, logic science, etc., this research has a comprehensive and deep study of the states of college teachers’occupation lassitude in Sichuan Province. The study is aimed to explore the contributing factors, and reveal the levels of the teachers’occupation lassitude in Sichuan Province. The feedback is conducted by data analysis. These analyses provide the basis for improving the qualities of the teachers, inspiriting their enthusiasm, upgrading the teaching quality, meanwhile offer references for the management and construction of teaching stuff in the colleges of Sichuan Province.The results of this research prove:1.In general, currently the degree of college P.E. teachers’occupation lassitude in Sichuan Province is not so serious, considerable proportions of teachers have begun to have the obvious lassitude tendency. Especially in the comparison and contrast between the male and female teachers, it shows that the degree to which females remain in tired spirits is fairly high and that the sense of success in males is rather low; teachers with over 10 years’teaching experience are more likely to decrease their enthusiasm and feel the least achievement; teachers with 5-10 years’teaching experience are more likely to depersonalize; teachers with bachelor degrees are more likely to decrease their enthusiasm and feel the least achievements; teachers with the average income below 1000 Yuan are more likely to decrease their enthusiasm and feel the least achievements and depersonalize. 2.The causes of college P.E. teachers’occupation lassitude mainly focus on“low social position of P.E. teachers’, low economic treatment, heavy workload, and unfairness of assessment of work, role ambiguity, heavy family burdens, and low of awareness of self-improvement. Besides working environment and students’problems etc. are also the reacted problems, but not universally.This article gives some suggestions about relieving teachers’occupation lassitude from the social, organizational and individual positions. The following are these suggestions:1. Increase the propaganda for P.E. teachers’, appeal the whole society’s respect for P.E. teachers’working values, and envisage P.E. teachers’labor results.2. Lift the teachers’salary and welfare.3. The supervisors of school should carry out the democratized and humanized management, set up a set of system of clear rewards and punishments.4. Create more job-training opportunities for the college P.E. teacher.5. The teachers’wiliness to come over the occupation lassitude.
