Abstract

Objective:Autologous fat transplantation is a breast augmentation method that has gained wide acceptance among transplant recipients. The low survival rate of transplanted fat cells (typically less than 30%) however has always led to satisfaction issues and problems for transplant recipients. In this study, new purification and transplantation techniques were used in combination with several methods that improve fat cell survival rate to examine the positive factors involved in improving fat cell survival rate after autologous fat transfer. Methods:Autologous fat transplanted breast augmentation surgery was performed on 20 healthy female volunteers. The volunteers were divided into two groups of ten, with one group being the test group and the other being the control group. The new fat purification and transplantation techniques were used in combination with several methods that improve fat cell survival rate. Results:The ten subjects in the test group all exhibited significantly higher fat cell survival rates than the control group after undergoing autologous fat transfer breast augmentation surgery. The average survival rate was over 86.28% in the test group while the 10 subjects in the control group varied between 12%~83%(48.79% average). Conclusion:The "combined Autologous Fat Transplantation Breast Augmentation Fat Survival Methods" for harvested autologous fat cells involved the refrigeration of harvested fat cells, purification using stem cell technology, regular injections of platelet rich plasma (PRP) as well as high fat and glucose intake after surgery. The use of these techniques together with a high-precision fat injection machine significantly improves the survival rate of fat cells in autologous fat transfers.
