Abstract

During recent years, e-commerce has made great progress in our country. E-commerce is becoming a mainstream business mould in the 21st century. In order to maintain customers, improve the ratio of market occupation and be the winner, large supermarkets must change their managing strategies and marketing methods in this kind of business background. An integrated e-commerce includes business stream, information stream, fund stream and logistics. The present science and technology, management and practice have proved that business stream, information stream and fund stream have been well solved. However, logistics has become the bottleneck in the development of e-commerce . According to the process and business objects, the logistics and distribution of large supermarkets are divided into the following two parts: one is the goods order, reservation and division from the goods supplier( e.g. logistics and distribution from the goods supplier) , the other is the goods preparation, distribution and transportation,( e.g. logistics and distribution for customers). Nowadays, most large supermarkets can conduct the logistics and distribution from the goods supplier, but can only carry out the logistics and distribution for some special customers. This paper will study the logistics and distribution that are from large supermarkets to consumers. Building on the academic knowledge and careful investigation of local large supermarkets, the author comes up with the project of studying large supermarket logistics and distribution which is based on distribution stations. The small batch and scattered demand of consumers can be gathered through the distribution station so as to make the demand formulated , lower the difficulty of logistics and distribution, and decrease the cost of distribution ultimately. The study of this topic has real significance to B to C e-commerce website and large retail enterprise.In this paper, logistics and distribution is confined in a city or a city and its surrounding area. Besides, urban citizens live intensively and usually gather in a community in China. Supermarkets can distribute goods to customers through distribution stations which are built in the communities. In the end, the author will take Shanxi Meet All supermarket for an example to analyze the whole project. First, logistics and distribution of large supermarkets which is based on distribution stations is analysed in the essay.Then, the definition, the role and the scope of distribution are introduced in details.Furthermore, the distribution stations are divided into groups in order to seek an optimal rolling route.Grouping the distribution stations means dividing distribution areas of chain-stores, that is,using Thiessen segmentation Theory out of space analysis in Geography Information System, to divide the city geographic space into many areas, and each area’s distribution stations are seen as one distribution group, whose distribution responsibility is charged by one chain-store. In every group, TSP transportation rolling route mould is constructed, that is, each distribution station is satisfied by a distribution vehicle which starts from and returns to the large chain supermarket finally. However, because of the complexion of traffic condition and the scattering of distribution stations, the accuracy of TSP is hard to be achieved, so this essay uses Improved Cut–in calculating method to solve this problem.In the end, this paper takes VB6.0 as the front-desk exploit tool and SQL Server 2000 as the back-desk data base in order to make the distribution station inquiry and the function mould of seeking an optimal rolling route come true. And the large supermarket Meet all is taken for an example to demonstrate this.Results of the paper: (1) distribution station (2) dividing group of distribution stations (division of distribution area) (3) logistics and distribution scheme based on distribution station.This paper has guiding significance to the planning of large supermarket’s distribution, and has referring effection on the implement of large supermarket’s distribution for consumers, so as to bring economic benefit for the large supermarket, and can also play a positive part in the development of the whole logistics and the distribution.
