Abstract


This paper from the perspective of stock market turnover, combining economic theory and the reality of China, analyzed harm of stock market fluctuation, summarized the characteristics of China’s stock market, designed a set of method to calculate out the degree of fluctuation of volume of business in the China’s stock market from the first quarter of 1997 to the fourth quarter of 2007, and established a critical value to distinguish the fluctuation to normal fluctuation and abnormal fluctuation. In view of the abnormal fluctuations of stock market turnover in China, this article analyzed various influence factors of abnormal fluctuations of volume of business, selected the variables that had significant effect to the abnormal fluctuations of turnover through empirical analysis, and model building to study on the impact of various factors to abnormal fluctuations.According to the empirical analysis results, this paper pointed out that different factor take different impact to the abnormal fluctuation of stock market, proposed that regulation choice should aim at stock market feature, select appropriate policy variable to control the stock market, guide the stock market develop stationary and other policy suggestions of supervision layer.
