Abstract

Template synthesis is a very efficient and well controlled synthetic route. Anodic aluminum oxide ( AAO ) is one of the most widely used templates. Using the porous AAO as the template, the gold nanotube arrays were obtained by means of a direct electrodeposition. The gold nanomaterial was used to immobilize enzyme, the performance of enzyme electrode has been studied. TiO2 nanotube array films were obtained by anodization method. The effects of anodization condition on the TiO2 nanotube have been studied in detail. Horseradish Peroxidase ( HRP ) was immobilized on TiO2 nanotube electrode , HRP still kept better biological activity.1. Highly ordered AAO templates were prepared by using a two-step anodization method, which could be used to synthesis gold nanotubes. The porous AAO was characterized by SEM and the factors which affected the performance of AAO templates were discussed in detail.2. Using the porous AAO as the template, the gold nanotube arrays were obtained by means of a direct electrodeposition at room temperature. The performance of Au nanotube array electrode has been characterized with cyclic voltammetric and SEM. The result showed the electrode is obviously better than the performance of Au electrode, the peak current is 6.25 times larger than bare Au electrode. Microperoxidase-11 ( MP-11 ) immobilized on gold nanotube electrode still kept biological activity. The electrochemistry performance of enzyme electrode has been studied which may be extended to the fabrication of new electrochemical biosensors.3. TiO2 nanotube films were obtained by anodization method. The factors which affected the performance of porous TiO2 films were discussed in detail. TiO2 films have been characterized with scanning electron microscopy (SEM), The effects of heat treatment on the TiO2 nanotube films have been studied by XRD. HRP was immobilized on the compound electrode and characterized with SEM measurements and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) technique. A photometric activity assay indicated that HRP was immobilized on TiO2 nanotube electrode still kept biological activity.
