Abstract


Medical excipient supplies, the production and distribution of prescription drugs or additives are using excipients, which play a vital role in the quality of medicines. Compared with Europe and the United States, Chinese pharmaceutical excipients companies start later, less product varieties, fewer specifications and lower quality crude. With the improving quality requirement of medicines and supplies, access of foreign suppliers, the encouragement of country’s policy and drastic competition, the varieties, the quantity and quality of medicinal excipients have greatly increased and improved. However, as to Chinese pharmaceutical excipients, there are still many problems in the management are not conducive to the healthy development of the industry.With the rapid development of Chinese pharmaceutical industry, the development of Chinese pharmaceutical excipients market is very quick. New medical supplies, as many of the pharmaceutical manufacturers in China share the same objectives. However, China’s pharmaceutical excipients market is immature. Many pharmaceutical manufacturers’inappropriate use of fake and shoddy excipients has caused a major medical blunders. The implications results are serious. Meanwhile, some foreign companies who specialize in medical supplies want to enter China market. So it is very important to us to explore and study the medical excipients market in China.In this article the author accounts for the main contents and significance of background study of the topic based on investigation of international and domestic market and analysis of difference of pharmaceutical excipients abroad and at home. Firstly the author studies how to apply for and sale a new type of pharmaceutical excipients in China which is absent at home through comparing administrative policy and regulations of pharmaceutical excipients between China and U.S. under the background of Chinese market, then he analyses the advantages and disadvantages of such products in Chinese market and potential competition by studying the technological characteristics of ion exchange resin and its competitive varieties, meanwhile he analyses the actual demand of ion exchange resin in China by studying condition of the product in the two typical markets. At last, the detailed steps and some sales suggestion for promoting the four products in Chinese market based on all the above study
