Abstract


China’s agricultural civilization has a long tradition of the country, and long-term based on agriculture-based. Therefore, rural construction, rural governance in China is always a major event in the political and economic life. This paper attempts to social capital theory as the theoretical support, expand on Tian Xin Village in Jiangxi Province case study of governance. From specific to general, words and ideas for the Cambodian village governance.This thesis includes five parts. The first part of the account of the background and significance, and from the theoretical analysis of social capital and the interaction between rural governance. First, the concept of village governance statement, and social capital theory, and then define the article on "social capital"concept. Secondly, the focus of the social relationship between capital and rural governance, and political science from the perspective of the governance theory of social development in rural applicability. In order to analyze social capital and governance come to the association and interaction between, it is necessary for domestic use of social capital theory the status of governance in rural China to do to sort out, so as to China’s social capital theory to maximize the value of the application.The second part analyzes the impact of social capital, the role of village governance mechanism. First, examine the impact of social capital, some form of village governance; Second, the impact of village governance of social capital in several ways: from the impact of social capital, the main village governance, social capital affects the village governance structure, social capital, governance of village governance Three aspects of the process; Finally, the positive and negative social capital is a double edged sword of rural governance.The third part is a case study to explore the heart of the village of Jiangxi in the field of social capital and governance.First presented an overview of Tian Xin Village, including the village’s economic situation, the organization of the village, the village of external links, and the village ceremony. Then again summed up the stock of Tian Xin Village of social capital, and in the clan, religious, civil elites, folk, and what village bylaws of the four main objects. By Tian Xin Village value of the stock of social capital and the value of social capital on the impact of village governance.The fourth section summarizes the field of social capital in the heart of the village there is the plight of village governance. Include: ethical standard weight, lack of awareness of the rule of law and conservative thinking seriously derailed with the times, attention to home based, exclusion, lacking the spirit of openness, civil society organizations did not achieve the desired functionality of the responsibility to other four questions.The fifth part for the issues of social capital in rural areas to strengthening the role of good governance measures.Social capital theory to study paradigm of governance highlights the unique benefits. Analysis of social capital approach helped to draw people to political and economic factors outside of the importance of non-system, prompting concern from a deeper theoretical level, hidden in the social structure and social relations among citizens to participate in networks, norms of reciprocity and trust Forms of social capital. In addition, the social value judgments and cultural capital also included in the analysis framework, the behavior of social actors to explain more in-depth motivation, can do perspective of the governance structure of social constraints, thus making a more complete understanding of citizenship Social ideology, mental state and the resulting network of citizen participation.
