Abstract


As an important workforce group that are going to step into society, the employment of graduate students affects labor market balance and economic growth. In recent years, the problem of graduate students employment has been serious because of college students’enrollment expansion, labor market structure conversion and financial crisis in 2008 and etc. The employment problems are mainly showed as unbalanced supply and demand, unbalanced quality and quantity, unbalanced hot and cold specialty. Unbalanced supply and demand means graduate students are far more than market demand. Unbalanced quality and quantity means that graduates’quality can not reach the employers’requirements. Unbalanced hot and cold specialty is that students majoring in popular specialty are smaller than students with unpopular major. Among all the reasons that affects the graduates’ employment economical factor is the important one and the influence is most longer.So this article is to analyze the influence of financial expenditure on graduates employment based on IS-LM model. The article uses 6 chapters to explain this relationship.The first chapter is to introduce graduates’employment situation and the necessary and significance of this research. The second chapter mainly sums up the major studies in this field at home and abroad. And the third chapter classifies the promote employment policies at home and abroad.The fourth chapter explains the policy toward female graduates and the situation of female graduates. The fifth chapter analyzes the principle of IS-LM model and the influence of financial expenditure and tax on employment. In the last chapter I use Granger to test the relationship between financial expenditure and employment of graduates, then estimate the formula of financial expenditure and employment by least-squares estimation.The results show:there is an interrelationship between financial expenditure and graduates employment. The graduates will increase 0.0056 units if financial expenditure increases 1 unit, and the financial expenditure will increase 170.4638 units if graduates increase 1 unit. The influence is 2 years tagged.Graduates employment plays an important role in labor market, so this problem should be paid highly attention. Solving this problem is not only benefit on students themselves, but also contribute to reasonable distribution of human resource. This article will help to learn this problem better and provide suggestion to other studies and policy options to some extant.
