Objective: To investigate in controlled ovarian hyperstimulation in the day of HCG injection serum progesterone (P) levels and estradiol / progesterone (E2 / P) level and the relationship between the outcome of IVF-ET . Methods: The First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi Medical University Reproductive Center in November 2006 - November 2008 and has been undergoing IVF treatment in patients with complete data of 658 cases, according to the day of HCG injections into serum progesterone levels ≥ 1.04ng/ml group and <1.04ng/ml groups and press estradiol / progesterone (E 2 / P) level ≥ 1.51 into groups < 1.51 group , analyzed and compared between groups differences in the observed indicators . Results: The baseline serum estradiol progesterone group (E 2 ), antral follicle count (AFC), HCG day greater than or equal 14mm follicles , oocytes , 2PN number of excellent embryos , clinical pregnancy rate and other differences were statistically significant (P <0.01). The number of embryos transferred , fertilization rate, cleavage rate, implantation rate differences were not statistically significant (p> 0.05). Different E2 / P between groups of patients based on follicle -stimulating hormone (FSH), based on E2, AFC, HCG date greater than or equal 14mm follicles , oocytes , fertilized number , 2PN number of excellent embryos , fertilization rate, cleavage rate differences were statistically significant (p <0.05). Day of embryo transfer (ET days ) endometrial thickness , implantation rate, clinical pregnancy rate was no significant difference (p> 0.05). Conclusions: In the treatment of controlled ovarian hyperstimulation , HCG injection day by serum progesterone values ??≥ 1.04ng/ml clinical pregnancy rate , E2 / P ratio is an important indicator of outcome prediction progesterone .
