Objective: To design a small incision reduction and interlocking intramedullary nail fixation for the treatment of femoral shaft fractures , and to evaluate the clinical value used in the treatment of femoral shaft fractures in clinical applications , provide a theoretical basis for its popularization and application . Methods: 2006.10 to 2008.4 the Mindong hospital femoral shaft fracture patients 90 cases , according to the treatment sequence and treatment methods , were randomly divided into three groups the small incision reset interlocking intramedullary nail in the treatment group (A ) , closed reduction and interlocking intramedullary nail in the treatment group (B ) and a small incision reset hematoma reinfusion interlocking intramedullary nail treatment (C) of the 30 cases were recorded in each group of patients operative time , blood loss, hospital stay , fracture healing and callus The time knee complication rate . Group B , group C and Group A statistical analysis to evaluate the clinical value of this method of surgery . RESULTS : After 8-12 months of follow-up , A mean operative time , mean intraoperative blood loss was less in group B , there were significant differences ( p lt; 0.05 ) ; the group A comprehensive effective than group B , there is a significant difference ( p lt; 0.05 ) ; the A group malunion less than group B , a significant difference ( p lt; 0.05 ) . A mean operative time , the average amount of bleeding in surgery , the same with the C group . The three groups of hospital stay , fracture healing time , the callus the time knee function was no significant difference ( p gt ; 0.05) . Conclusion: The small incision reduction and interlocking intramedullary nail fixation is an ideal surgical methods of treatment of femoral shaft fracture , while maintaining the intramedullary nailing without periosteal stripping , to retain the advantages of the original hematoma fracture , but also shorten the operation time to avoid X ray irradiation to improve the therapeutic effect , has a good prospect .
