Abstract


Objective:To evaluate the clinical curative effect of artificial hip arthroplasty in different kinds of fixation methods.Method:Retrospective reviewed 40 patients undergoing the hip revision because of prosthetic loosening.They were admitted from March 2005 to December 2008.There were 16 males and 24 females,with a mean age of 65.4 years.They received the radiographic evaluation before operation and were investigated in prosthetic loosening during the operation.Evaluate the clinical curative effect of artificial hip arthroplasty in different kinds of fixation methods.Result:Prosthetic loosening mainly occurred in cementless prosthesis in its early and middle term.The rate of osteolysis of cementless fixation and cement fixation prostheses was high in the long term.The rate of the bone osteolysis was the highest in aeetabularⅠzone and in femoralⅠ,Ⅱ,ⅥandⅦzones.Conclusion:The cementless fixation of artificial hip arthroplasty is not firm in the primary phase.Prosthetic loosening of cement fixation in the artificial hip arthroplasty mainly occurs in the long term and at the acetabular.
