Background : Lumbar disc herniation is caused by a variety of reasons annulus rupture, herniated , nerve root or cauda equina and a series of symptoms. Throughout recent years, a method for the treatment of this disease , and reports can be roughly divided into surgical and non- surgical therapy two types of therapy , and surgical therapy often exist in view of surgical adhesions , spinal instability , infection , traumatic large range of issues, therefore, non-surgical therapy for the treatment of this disease is very important . Objective: To study the fire for lumbar disc herniation clinical efficacy. Methods: 60 patients were randomly divided into treatment group and control group , 30 cases in each treatment group with fire needle , conventional acupuncture control group . Before treatment , after treatment, respectively, for all patients Mcgill pain scale scores, which determine efficacy . Results: 1 , after two courses of treatment , the treatment group were clinically cured 18 cases , 8 cases improved , healed in 4 cases, the total effective rate was 86.7% ; the control group were clinically cured 12 cases , improved in 10 cases , eight cases healed , The total effective rate was 73.3%. The treatment group than the control group . 2 , the two groups after the end of treatment were statistically compared two groups of patients feeling entries , emotional items , the sum of both were improved after treatment , the treatment group than the control group . 3 , after the end of treatment groups were statistically compared two groups of patients VAS score , PH score were improved after treatment , the treatment group than the control group . Conclusions : Fire needle group on pain in patients with lumbar disc herniation classification index , VAS score , PPI score were improved .
