Abstract


The subject is established in the principle of dialectical materialism and historical materialism, adopts methods of social science such as philosophy, science of religion, hermeneutic; discusses dialectically and intellectually analyzes the characteristics and significance of culture of forefathers of Uighur, indicating its practical character of theory and epoch meaning for the sake of fetching up the insufficiency of understanding this problem in academia.First, this paper aims at analyzing the characteristics of original religion of forefathers of Uighur, discussing their commonness points in the original religion such as simplicity, utility the same as other peoples in the world, and discussing their individuality points in the original religion, for example, the world view of polytheistic faith based on paramount deity, the notional deity being devoid of nonobjective property from the historical view of social development and from the productive mode of horde of forefathers of Uighur point of view.Second, it is to culturally analyze the original religion of forefathers of Uighur from the aspect of the bud break of philosophical thought, the literary characteristic of mythology, the tameless beauty and the uncanny beauty of art and so on, finding out its cultural property and meaning which indicates to a certain extent the original religion of forefathers of Uighur be the headspring of various of culture of their national community.Third, it is going to elucidate the modern value of the original religion of forefathers of Uighur from two aspects. There are as follows: the thought of harmonious coexistence between man and nature makes sense in the modern society, for instance, assorting with the development between man and nature, maintaining the ecological balance, etc; Besides, the original religion of forefathers of Uighur leaves behind the faith folk-custom that can supply with much more abundant data today the construction of filiations of science of religion such as studying religion in the folklore and ecology angle of view; meanwhile the factual meaning of studying the original religion also weighs more.
