Abstract


As technology brings convenience to human, it also makes great pressure to the nature on which the human being lives. China gets many achievements as well as pay a lot on resource and environment ,through 30 years high speed development after reform and open up. As to adjust the model of development, China brings up the "Two-oriented Society"(TOS, refers to the resource-saving and environment-friendly) as the new direction for the society development. Industrial technology plays a leading and decisive role in the development of Two-oriented society, the thesis tries to discuss the development of Two-oriented society from the view of industrial technology.The thesis divides into three parts .The first part tries to discuss the concept, characteristics and nature of industrial technology. Tracing the source of thoughts of the theory, from Francis Bacon to Karl Marx, the thesis tries to show the formation of the concept step by step. Industrial technology is the core of Two-oriented Society, the essence is a form of expression of the relationship among technology ,human,nature and society. Industrial technology refers to a technological system, which is used in industrial production activities and plays a leading and decisive role in it. Industrial technology is the first productive force, and the essence is its decisive function.The second part is to discuss whether the concept of Two-oriented Society is scientific or not, and to reveal it’s essence. As the guiding policy for the development, it is important to assure it’s scientific. We need a more scientific way for our development when we face population explosion, decreased resources, destroyed environment, or other problems with city development. Two-oriented Society is just such kind of scientific point which caters for the real need. Of course, it has rich thinking resources, from Karl Marx’s ecological thinking to the modern environmental protection thought, all of them are reflect Two-oriented Society is the demands of human development. Two-oriented Society is a kind of scientific concept of sustainable development. It’s basic requirement is resource-saving and environmental-protection. Its core idea is to carry forward a new road to industrialization and a new approach to urbanization, to changing the ways of development.The third part is to discuss the mutual effects between industrial technology and Two-oriented Society. First of all, industrial technology effects the development of Two-oriented Society and decides the way and progress of urbanization. Secondly, Two-oriented Society also makes a counteraction to the development of industrial technology. The two factors show the contradiction relationship of unity of opposites.In the last part this thesis proposes strategic measures for the development of Two-oriented Society. This thesis points out the most important thing is to development the leading industrial technology as well as to building the ecological value, under the effect of this value science and technology will play a more important role to adjust human and nature.
