Abstract


The credit system,as a kind of advanced teaching and managing system of modern colleges and universities,takes the important role in bringing up students’independent consciousness and springing up the development of person with ability.Being similar to culture characters and education development in China,Korea has relatively perfect credit system, which is analyzed for giving good advice to the reform of the credit system in Chinese colleges and universities.This paper seek to YONG IN university of Korea for the study,use a similar vivisection way to probes into the system of the credit system,analyzes its characters and presents the consideration for the reform of the credit system in Chinese colleges and universities.The whole paper is divided into five chapters:The first chapter expounds the reason why the theme is selected for writing, summarizes the development of the credit system management in Korea, illustrating the research’s meaning, methods and ways of thought and defining some basic definitions.Chapter Two outlines the history, organization structure and the purpose of YONG IN University’s running for giving the base on analyzing the credit system.Chapter Three explains the system of the credit system in detail in YONG IN university from four parts based on the first-hand information, main include the flexible academic structure, system of selective courses, teaching monitoring and evaluation, and credit bank system.Chapter Four summarized the main features by analysis the system of the credit system in YONG IN university,include formed the academic structure of people-oriented, provides a larger choice of curriculum, carried out teaching monitoring and evaluation strictly, established a platform of the guidance of selective courses and curriculum management, and use more open ways of the credit certification.In last Chapter, at the basis of compare the case of YONG IN university,analysis several problems existed in the reform of the credit system in Chinese colleges and universities, and made related recommendations,mclude enforce the concept of service, enhance the flexibility of school management, realize the selection of curriculum for students, enhance teaching reform, monitoring and evaluation, develop and take advantage of computer management system and promote credit system management in lifelong education.
