Abstract


With rapid China’s economic development,the small-and-medium enterprises have rapid increasing speed in number,excellent economic contribution,and good development trend.However at the same time,people increasingly feel the existence of pressure,especially the career women,who load the dual responsibility of the family and the cause,have increasing work stress,and their healthy is becoming worse.Therefore,this paper studies at the career women of the small-and-medium enterprises,and starts on the research of their work stress management.This paper uses the theoretical analysis and empirical studies.At the theory part,this paper defines the small-and-medium enterprises as well as the career women,and describes their development status in general terms,then, focuses on the work stress-related theories,including the connotation, classification,theory,work stress source,measuring tools and so on.It lays a solid foundation for the following empirical research.At the empirical part, the paper makes the work stress sources into categories,designs the questionnaire and chooses the Temperament model designed by Bath and Puluo Ming as the indirect factors according to the ERG theory and the work stress interviews of the career women.With the results of the questionnaire, the paper uses the SPSS13.0 statistical analysis software for data processing, and major in reliability analysis,descriptive statistical analysis,correlation analysis and variance analysis with a view to understand in-depth the work stress situation of China’s career women in the small-and-medium enterprises.The statistical analysis shows that career women in China’s small-and-medium enterprises have greater work stress,and most of them are in negative status,its main sources of work stress include career development, human relations,gender discrimination,work load and organizational management five factors,its relatively minor sources of work stress include the working environment,the role conflict,work-and-family conflict and work crisis four factors.Through further analysis,personal background and work stress have certain relevance,some difference between the sources including the work load,gender discrimination,career development,job role, work-and-family conflict have significant impact on the degree of work stress. As for the temperament model,the analysis shows little impact,only the emotion and work stress have notable positive correlation,while the human relation and activities don’t relate to the degree of work stress.In order to make the study more specific,this paper takes Company A as the target of research and practice,analyzes the work stress situation of career women through the questionnaire survey,and puts forward specific measures combining with the actual management situation to reduce the work stress of career women.According to the statistical analysis,this paper discusses the management strategies from enterprises and individuals as well as society three levels. Enterprises major in preventing,controlling and eliminating the negative stress,using the corresponding strategies;personal level majors in reducing stress,enhancing the handling ability;the social dimension major in protecting the employment status of career women,offering support conditions for balancing their family and career,including the establishment of the institutions and platforms about the work stress advisory.
