Abstract


Currently , colleges and universities have increasingly become the subject of basic research in most countries , an important force in the high-tech frontier exploration and applied research , as well as an important source of technological innovation ; while high-tech industry based on the focus of the technology-driven industrial development and economic benefits of growth industry is an important position in international economic and technological competition . Therefore, to study the impact of Chinese Universities RD the development of high-tech industry , has important theoretical and practical value . This article first summarizes the research results at home and abroad , and a summary of the College RD affect the industrial development of the theory , and discuss the general path of Chinese Universities RD on the high-tech industry and the main mode of action on this basis , and Chinese universities RD and the achievements and deficiencies in the development process of China 's high-tech industry . Empirical research in the next part of this article through the establishment of vector auto regression model and vector error correction model to examine the relationship between universities RD with the high-tech industry development , and use of the impulse response function and variance decomposition to examine college RD high-tech long - term effect of the industrial development . Studies China University RD significant role in the development of high-tech industry , and with the strengthening of the capacity of universities RD , university RD has a continuing role in boosting the development of high-tech industry , but the University RD on the development of high-tech industry since the role of a relatively long lag period , to some extent hindered the further development of China 's high-tech industry . To this end, this paper points corresponding policy recommendations to promote the further development of China 's high-tech industry for speed, speed up the transformation of of Chinese Universities RD results to the high-tech industry .
