Abstract


In essence, the process of economic development is the course of adjusting and upgrading its industrial structure gradually. Under the china opening condition, FDI has become a most important factor that urges its economic development. The industrial structure is not only reflection and result,but also the motive force of the economic development.Firstly this paper has reviewed the FDI’s theory and industrial structure theory,and then analysis the industrial structure ,the general rules of the evolution of the industrial structure;based on the time series historical data of the FDI and industry structure of Anhui province,an comprehensive ecometric analysis is taken to verify the FDI’s effect on the industry structure ,where we use the relation analysis,regression analysis,Granger causality analysis and co-integration theoty etc.. We found that the FDI increased in the proportion of secondary industry,and reduced the proportion of tertiary industry in the Anhui’s GDP, thus the result conveys that the FDI hasn’t promoted the development and upgrading of Anhui’s industry structure。According to the empirical test results, Anhui province should seize the great opportunities and environments on the strategy of“Rise of central China”,and fully carry out the“scientific concept of development”in accordance with the needs of industrial development. The author combined with the FDI’s experience in other provinces and cities,and integrated with the reality of Anhui province, proposed several relevant solutions and suggestions to promote the development and upgrading of Anhui’s industry structure through the effective use of the FDI.
