HMX Explosives is widely used in industry, but in the production process of organic wastewater pose a serious threat to human life and health . HMX wastewater has bactericidal properties, and traditional biological method difficult to remove . In this study, respectively, using UV / Fenton, US / Fenton, UV / US / Fenton reagent HMX wastewater compared at room temperature . By examining the reaction time , the hydrogen peroxide dosage , ferrous sulfate dosage, pH , and HMX initial concentration of the removal of HMX and wastewater COD Cr , orthogonal experiments and single- factor experiment to determine HMX wastewater optimal operating conditions . The results show that the synergistic effect of ultrasound , ultraviolet and Fenton's reagent than simply under UV irradiation conditions , or simply HMX treatment effect in the ultrasonic generator has significantly improved ; and reduced H 2 O 2 and Fe 2 sup> used in an amount , and maintained over a higher utilization of the hydrogen peroxide and ferrous ions , to reduce the processing cost . UV / US / Fenton processing HMX optimum conditions : under UV irradiation , 10% H 2 O 2 solution dosage is 0.09 mL ( meet the theoretical amount Q th < / sub >) ; 10 % sulfuric acid solution of ferrous dosage 0.04mL, meet n ( FeSO to the 4 sub > · 7H 2 < / sub > O) / n (H 2 O 2 ) = 1:10; pH of the solution 3 ; reaction time was 80min ; HMX initial content of 200mg / L , the ultrasonic generator frequency is 60kHz. In this condition , the HMX removal rate reached 94.3% sub > , of COD Cr removal rate reached 55.2% .
