Abstract


Embodying the essence of nature and preserving the precious historic sites as well as ethnic culture,a scenic spot has high value from the perspectives of ecology, scientific research,aesthetics,culture and view.Along with the development of modern tourism,the view value of a scenic spot has been embodied.Consequently,the development and construction projects are increased,and the holiday hotels in scenic spots as the necessary service facilities are flourished.However,challenge accompanies opportunities.The development and construction brings severe destroy to the ecological balance in the scenic spots and the scenic spots are developed in the course of commercialization,urbanization and artificialization,too.As one of the indispensable service facilities in the scenic spots,holiday hotels should not only meet the basic functions of hotel but also portray the image of the scenic spots.Therefore,how to merge the unique natural scenery and regional culture into modernized hotel design becomes an urgent for a competent architect.The thesis focuses on the study of the hotels design in scenic spots.Having taken the geographical and view characteristics mountain scenic spots specially have into consideration,it puts forward a more complete and comprehensive theoretical system to hotel design there.The current study,taking architectural design procedure as the prelude,natural environment and regional culture characteristics in Louguantai scenic spot as the research background,concerning theories as the research basis,adopts Louguantai Shuizhuyuan Holiday Hotel as the research object.On the grounds of field investigation and engineering practice,it conducts studies from the aspects of location and layout, function configuration,space form and style,all of which are relevant to the architectural design.Besides,it analyses how to deal with the problems caused by the environment of the scenic spot and probes into the thought and methods of dialogue between the architecture and the environment,which can be referenced for the construction of hotel in scenic spots and are helpful to preserve the integrity of natural scenery and the continuity of regional culture in scenic spots.The thesis is made up of three parts.Part one(exordium) provides an introduction to the research background,reasons for selecting this research,the research objectives, research significance and relevant theoretical accounts at home and abroad and the research methodology of the present study.Part two(chapter two to four),taking the present construction situation of the scenic spot into consideration,elaborates the design theory of hotels in the scenic spot.Part three(chapter five to seven) setting out from practice,analyzes and researches the architectural design of Louguantai Shuizhuyuan Holiday Hotel,and summaries some beneficial design methods.
