The gongs and drums of Zhoushan,which called as "Sanfan gongs and drums" or "The gongs and drums in the temple fairs" formerly,is one of the folk wind and percussion ensemble popular in Zhoushan,which is one of the cities in Zhejiang province.With the deepening of the process of modernization,the gongs and drums of Zhoushan is walking up to the city stages from country in recent years,and has become a local cultural symbol,playing the function of the cultural symbol.Now, retaining parts of traditional factors,the gongs and drums of Zhoushan has showed a lot of new aspects,which is different from the tradition in the past.For example, percussion instrument only has been played more and more,and actress has appeared in the performance…There are interrelated reasons behind these changes.The author intends to describe the changes of the gongs and drums of Zhoushan in recent years truly in the current social context,and research the reasons of the changes from culture,living space,and polity,and analyze why the changes happened.This dissertation is based on the theoretical and methodological model of Timthy Rice,that is,Historical construction、Social maintenance、and Individual adaptation and experience.The author try to describe the changes of the gongs and drums of Zhoushan in recent years truly in the current social context,and analyze the reasons of the changes from the visual angle of music anthropology.
