Abstract


The vague language is an important area in the study of linguistics . Over the years , many domestic and foreign scholars and researchers have been the vagueness of the language . In 1965 , the concept of fuzzy set LAZadeh Dr. attracted widespread attention and is widely used in many fields of philosophy, mathematics , linguistics , natural sciences and social sciences , resulting in an emerging discipline - Fuzzy Linguistics . Domestic fuzzy language research began in the late 1970s , by the Wu Tieping professor in his book \The vague language is not only a way of day-to-day language exchange , also plays an important role in business correspondence , business people must master an important commercial negotiation skills . Under the guidance of the theory of pragmatics to study the use of fuzzy language in business letters , designed to reveal the pragmatics and communicative function of the fuzzy language in the business , to change the negative perceptions of people try to avoid using vague language for business communication the findings will further enrich the study of the fuzzy language and vague language in business communication , at the same time engaged in international trade to write business letters provide guidance to improve the quality and efficiency of business communication .
