Abstract


Seventeenth Party Congress stressed to strengthen education about citizenship and establish a socialist democracy and the rule of law, freedom, equality, equity and justice. Civic awareness as the rational quality of a country's citizens constitute the heritage of the spirit of the modern state, both the power of the idea of ??the development of socialist democratic politics, is the basis of the work of building a harmonious society. College students are the main force of modernization, the status of its main civic awareness, will directly affect the development of society as a whole. Therefore, the research on the problems and countermeasures of civic awareness education of college students, strengthen ideological and political education and civic awareness training today, undoubtedly has important theoretical and practical significance. In this paper, the CPC Central Committee on strengthening and improving university students 'ideological and political education files spiritual guidance, the use of the ideological and political pedagogy and civic education theory, and conducted in-depth discussion on the problems and countermeasures of university students' civic education on the subject. The paper is divided into four parts: the first part, explain the meaning of civic awareness education of contemporary college students discussed the strengthening of university students 'civic awareness of the significance of education: to enhance civic awareness education of college students is to improve the internal needs of the university students' civic awareness, the need to promote the comprehensive development of college students, strengthen the inherent requirement of the ideological and political education. Second part of the analysis of the main problems of the contemporary university students' civic awareness education: college students education about citizenship status is not clear, the university students' civic awareness education system is not complete, the university students' civic awareness education and management disjointed way obsolete civic awareness education of college students, college students improper assessment of civic awareness education. The third part of the University Students 'civic awareness education reasons: lack of rational understanding of the main body of the university students' civic awareness education college spirit atrophy constraints on civic awareness education, civic awareness education resource development and use enough, the lack of civic awareness education of college students system protection, theoretical research is relatively backward. The fourth part of education about citizenship issues to resolve contemporary college students as well as the education of university students 'civic awareness countermeasures: establish a new concept of civic awareness education; strive to build the scientific citizen awareness education content system; protect the fundamental rights of students to promote the university students' civic awareness development; subjectivity through a variety of ways and means to enhance civic awareness of college students; reasonable construction of the university students' civic awareness education evaluation system.
