Abstract


Chinese higher education enrollment in the decade, continued to expand in 2007 in the number of ordinary students has more than 18,840,000 gross enrollment rate of 23%, into the popularization of higher education internationally recognized stages of development, this achievement is historic by leaps and bounds. But such leaps and bounds also inevitably bring a lot of problems for higher education. This article is based on the reality of the development of higher education in China, Sichuan Province, the development of higher education, for example, to delve into the historical background of the college enrollment motivation, rational, objective look at the contradictions and problems of the college enrollment process, and targeted proposed to promote the sound development of the recommendations of the college enrollment to Sichuan, and even the country of higher education in the comprehensive, coordinated and sustainable development has been to promote and helpful, in order to better play the role of higher education in the modernization. This paper is divided into five parts: The first part described the historical inevitability of China's higher education enrollment.
