Abstract


Modern psychologist points that "suggestion is a reactive process, which is corresponsive to the information accepted without counterwork." Suggestion has a consanguineous relation with education; for it will affect people’s mind even physical change in one way or another. Meanwhile, education is an activity to improve people’s mind and body with purpose and plan. Suggestive education plays a key role in exploring students’ potential. So it is necessary to emphasis the function and meanings of it. It has proved that, with various ways of suggestion, suggestive education can help students establish subconscious tendency, combined with their emotion and interests.Thus, I choose this subject: Research on Suggestive Education for Exploring Students’ Potential. This thesis has four parts:Part one: understand suggestive and suggestive education. The paper explains these two concepts from sociology and pedagogy points to illuminate their meanings, sorts and functions, and provides examples from authoritative works to show the education of exerting a subtle influence on students. Then, put forward the idea of suggestive education. Set forth its rationality in education practice, for it can better meet the demand of our society.Part two: introduce the relative theory about exploring potential, focus on its meaning and importance in education. On the basis of the advantage of suggestive education to explore students’ potential and improve themselves , the thesis post that there exist a phenomenon that ignores the exploring students’ potential, and analyses the situation, such as the misunderstanding of education, the standard of evaluation. Through the above said, we can see the importance of suggestive education to individual and society.Part three: in the view of psychology and pedagogical, this thesis discusses the relation between suggestion and exploring potential, and prove that suggestive education can improve the teaching impaction, induct to explore students’ potential depending on its scientific foundation and creative teaching style. It is a necessary idea in education practice.Part four: put forward practical proposals under the attention of theory of suggestive education and exploiture potential. In practice, we should build the suggestive atmosphere, to bring the inspiring function into play. Kinds of measure of suggestive education should be used in corresponding, to make a favorable educational atmosphere.In conclusion, the original intention of suggestive education is to achieve the goal which aims to teach ideology, conception and emotion by words, gesture or action and so on. It is an idea of receiving education in comprehensive and uncounted situation. The world of education is the world of true feelings between teacher and student, and the whole meaning of education reflects in their relationship. Teachers use kinds of ways of suggestive education to inspire students’ interests, helping them learn by the subtle influence, and explore their potential furthest.
