Abstract


Because of the development of modern social economic culture, the evolvement of family marriage and the improvement of the procreation technique,the traditional natural procreation model and family procreation model has been changing evidently.The phenomenon of unwed mother is one of the manifestations.It impacts greatly to Chinese traditional family marriage morals and caused a series of complicated and acute moral problems.The essay probes into the current Chinese unwed mother phenomenon from the point view of Ethnics.The whole essay elaborated the point by four parts.Firstly,there is an introduction to unwed mother this special cultural phenomenon.It elaborates the notion,type, character and the cause of unwed mothers.Secondly,it emphasizes in the moral and law problems of unwed mother mainly from six aspects:the Chinese traditional family marriage moral relations; Chinese family moral relations and family construct;parentage and children healthy growing up problems;family functions;the difficulty of marriage and "looking for husband" problems of unwed mothers;the crime problem and immoral actions of unwed mothers caused by pressure and the legal moral problems.The law problems including the legality of unwed mothers,the party right of the litigant,the paternal love right of the children and the bearing right of unwed mothers and etc.Thirdly,the essay analyze objectively the commensurability and acceptability of the existence of unwed mother phenomenon from the point of views:the right to birth is one of the basic rights of citizens,individual unwed birth will not harm to other people and the society,awe to life,and actually most of the unwed mother are suffers.So, we can not reject and deny unwed birth only because of the character of "unconventionality".But at the same time we should pay much attention to the series of social consequences caused by this action.The society should interpose properly and keep the correct moral attitude.Lastly,the essay comes to the conclusion that unwed mother phenomenon should not be encouraged and all the more can not be advocated.We can only understand and tolerate the fact and create a loose existing environment for the children to bloom with health,in order to prevent the appearing of deeper social problems.Meanwhile,the society should educate and warn beforehand and then help single females to build up a correct point view of family and marriage in the purpose of constructing a harmonious society.
