Abstract


Olympic Games, held every four years , is a worldwide sporting event , has become the focus of global media attention . Three different types of newspapers in our party official newspaper , Metropolis , sports professional newspaper Olympic coverage analysis aims to grasp the features and functions of different types Newspapers Olympic coverage , to explore how the media better Olympic coverage , and to fulfill media social function. The course of the study using a combination of qualitative and quantitative research methods . The integrated use of text analysis , content analysis , comparative analysis of the literature data access method . The framework of the theory , the theory of social function of the media , national identity theory , sports reports humane care theory as an analytical tool , and strive to achieve a comprehensive, thorough grasp of the features and functions of the different types of Olympic coverage . Showing the reported special edition , special edition part , emphasis on interaction with the audience , and the linkage between the media , the lack of humane care characteristics of different types of newspapers Olympic coverage in general . Different types of newspaper Olympic coverage showed some different characteristics , the official newspaper of the Party Committee of Olympic coverage from propaganda mode transition to an information mode , focusing on the spread of the Olympic spirit and the construction of national identity . Metropolis using a form of entertainment reporting practices , trying to give the audience presented an entertainment Olympic picture . Emphasis on professional sports like professional newspapers interpretation , while not forgetting to provide a multi-dimensional field of view for the audience .
