Abstract
The purpose of this thesis is to establish the stumpage an automated measuring system , the management of forest resources survey of information technology , automation and precision , thus improving the methods and techniques of traditional forest survey . Analytical processing the papers by the monoclonal the stumpage image information , combined with photogrammetry analysis of tree diameter of stumpage , branch , tree higher parameters . The experimental method in the laboratory of camera calibration , calculated camera parameters ; then stumpage shooting of stumpage image extraction , this paper proposes three methods tested and compared using the template matching method direct extraction of the trunk, the trunk is the trunk base area region growing to extract the seed region , based on GLCM method to extract the stumpage texture features ; then calculated according to the principle of photogrammetry stumpage parameters . The experimental results show that the proposed method can extract the trunk , and can achieve accuracy requirements . Thesis completion of the main innovations : digital camera calibration , obtained integrated camera pixel pitch , and applied in this study stumpage photogrammetry . 2 according to the the tree shape characteristics , region growing method based growth around the trunk base . 3. Texture feature extraction used in the stumpage image segmentation , and achieved satisfactory results . 4 . Principle of seeking the trunk edge slope of the least square method , which projected the trunk inclination .
