Abstract


With the social and economic development , the increasingly complex transport system , in order to provide a variety of real - time traffic information to the management of the transport system , in order to facilitate the efficient use and management of the existing transportation system , we research and development of vehicle classification and vehicle counting system . The core algorithm of the system is based on vehicle noise signal , the concrete realization of the idea is : First online collection vehicle sound signal endpoint detection interception effective part of the sound after the interception Brug method to extract the AR model parameters , and then send the parameters vehicle Classification into the trained BP neural network and the statistics of the number of each vehicle . The entire system using VC and MATLAB mixed programming method . As the core algorithm of the system is realized by MATLAB , so easy to update system algorithm . Relative to the traditional method of vehicle classification , the system has the advantages of low cost , development time is short , easy to implement . This system is currently applicable to bicycle paths, traffic roads, and be able to accurately identify the basic models on the road .
