Abstract


21 century is an age of informational technology. Informational industry has been the dominating one of which the core is the software industry that arouses the increasing awareness. However, the mode of project management, the most effective way, is applied most widely. As the scale of software projecting management getting larger and the development and management becoming more complicated, the progress and quality of software project are beyond estimation and measurement. It is difficult to preview and ensure the efficiency of its production. The risk of software project, even the common software developing project, needs the support of many technologies and installations, the abundant supplies of funds, the well-organized and framed researching personnel’s and a lasting researching period. All of these may cause unpredictable uncertainty, bringing about the risk of failure. Therefore, there is an increasing awareness in the risk management of the software project, which is an indispensible key process in ensuring the quality of software in software projecting areas.The research of software project’s risk management has developed maturely abroad, while its research and practice in China is still at the initiating stage. As far as the development of the whole trade is concerned, there are many problems in the risk management of software business, such as the ignorance of project management, the lack and absence of cost structure and controlling system, the shortage of exact projecting cost basis, the imperfection of system of project management, the vacancy of professional serving organization, the ill-planned project, the weak consciousness of project’s risk, the bad participation of professional personnel. But to our joy, part of Chinese researching organizations and enterprises are noticing that the project risk management not only analyses and manages the risk of the cost, personnel, process and quality, in the hope of completing the project basing on the planned cost, process and quality, but also gears up to change individuals’inventing ability into the enterprises’, promoting enterprises, steady development.Chapter two presents the concept of Risk and Risk Management, expound the features of software project risk、the principles of risk management、the significance of operating software project risk management,enumerating the common kinds of risk in software project developmen(tdemand risk、planning risk、risk of organization and management、personnel risk、risk of development、risk of design and implementation).For the problem of risk management in software development,this essay researches several kinds of risk management model which were proposed in the different steps during the development of this theory by many experts and organizations.Chapter three presents the related theory on software project risk management,the process of project risk management includes:risk management plan、risk recognition、qualitative analysis of risk、response planning of risk、risk monitoring. Each step needs different materials to prepare and distinguishing application methods and skills which leads to its corresponding results.Chapter four carrys out a risk management research on the developmental project of background management system of Season website,this part of essay implements a risk recognition on this project(resource risk、demand risk、management risk、interactive service risk of Information Technology、unauthorized users invasive risk、environmental risk of the location of electronic equipment、risk of infrastructure、risk of accidental functioning system)、risk assessment、risk response planning,and formulates risk corresponding countermeasures(personnel management program、indemnify operation environment program)、risk monitoring(strategy & result of risk monitoring).
