Abstract


Grid technology is emerging which based on the rapid development of network, it furthest organizes kinds of geographically distributed resources, radically eliminates the“isolated island”and achieves the real resources sharing. However, because of the complexity of grid environment, it restricted the development of grid technology, in order to provide an interface that can quickly access to grid environment for user, building the grid portal is gradually developed.The application and research of Ocean Date Visualization grid portal, the subject based on the“863”Project ---“Study on Grid based on ocean data sharing and information service”(No. 2006AA09Z139).The paper choice more popular of the current framework of GridSphere portal framework, combined with the actual needs of ocean environment information data sharing service and design and develop the application and research of Ocean Date Visualization grid portal. Study includes the following three points:First of all, the paper introduces the research background of grid portal and the grid portal related technologies, based on the GridSphere framework, use Portlet technology to design and research.Secondly, according to the architecture of the application and research of Ocean Date Visualization grid portal, analyze the requirement of grid portal, design the Grid portal architecture, encapsulate each application component for the independent Portlet and introduce the security policy of grid portal.In the end, according to analyze the functions of grid portal, take a basic Portlet programming mode as an example, introduce a prototype implementation of the application components, and give the specific examples of the application component picture.
