Abstract


As an emerging technology, Grid technology is continuously developing and changing. At present, there are many academic and business communities research about the grid, the study and names of which are different from each other. Therefore there is no precise definition and content positioning of Grid. The goal of grid computing is the realization of the full sharing of Internet computing resources, storage resources, data resources, information resources, software resources, communication resources, knowledge resources and expert resources.The current development of grid applications and Internet technology shows a growing trend of fusion because of the ultimate goal of grid. Beijing Jiaotong University Storage Grid is a small storage grid system developed by grid experimental group, Department of Computer Science. This System implemented grid storage resource access and management using a dedicated client. In this paper, the main task is to study and design an Internet grid service platform based on SOA by studding the developing experience of the storage grid project from the trend of grid technology development and the perspective of Web applications. This platform integrates a variety of grid idle computer resources using grid technology, and provides users with a unified, virtual, dynamically expanded portal of task processing; Services are Web-published on a unified central management node, users do not need to install additional software, only need to use cross-platform browser access; Design and implement the SOA service bus between Grid middleware and network user terminals in J2EE environment, and the high-level abstraction procedures on grid application programs (data service GridFTP/GSIFTP and operating service GRAM). The technology includes the use of GT4 and development tools such as Java Cog Kit. The design and implementation of this platform is not only a grid data services expansion for the grid storage project, the framework based on SOA development concept has a good scalability and portability.
